In the Adwa prison in Ethiopia, 34 women with 12 children are held in the women's section. The sentences are the most disparate. Theft of a cell phone, a debt with the bank or the murder of a husband. The innocent victims are children. They live in an infernal circle, between boredom, dirt, lack of food and water. The older children are free and at 15 they find themselves having to leave school to look after the brothers, the women behind bars are powerless and the fathers are absent. The desire to embrace one's children remains the only light of hope in a place where every day is equal.
