Nature, Between Splendours and Wounds
Bronze in Book/Nature
Stefano Ciol is a third-generation photographer who has been working in this field for more than thirty years. The light and colours are the central themes of the composition. The whole composition follows the central themes of light, colours and how they interact with each other, something so natural but visible only to the attentive eye of the artist who can capture them and eternalise them. During this travel the blu slowly modifies changing from water to sky; the beige of the mud that covers and destroys turns into a fertile field that feeds us, and,
Stefano Ciol, the heir of a photography dynasty, combines personal research with his professional work. He undertakes continual technological updating which leads him to crosspollinate traditional methods with the most recent and advanced ones for the purpose of perfecting correspondence between his own vision and the final image. This process is fully evident in the control of shades in his black and white photographs of landscapes, a revisitation in contemporary key of a genre that has its roots in the history of photography.
He lives and works at Casarsa della Delizia (PN) Italy
