An extremely rare phenomenon call flash freeze where the lake freezes overnight due to extreme temperature. I was there the morning when it was partially frozen, back again for sunset the same day when it's fully frozen and few days later when it's safe enough to skate on. It's a self-portrait using a backflash technique. The frozen lake was so clear you can see the blue colour of the lake radiating through the ice. On the foreground, there are pieces of ice flower which cause by moisture that build up as it freezes over on an extremely cold temperature.
I left my career as an engineer in April 2014 to pursue my passion in travel and photography. I've started a photography company called The Wicked Hunt.
