Former Industrial Hall Paraboloid / Pier Luigi Nervi This construction of 1930 deserves my attention for several architectural reasons: the complexity and articulation of the forms that characterize the whole, the avant-garde solutions adopted at the time, such as the prefabrication in reinforced concrete of the arcade elements which accompany the structure or mainly, as far as I'm concerned, the two rows of X pilasters that support the structure 90 m long and 28 m high

A graduate in Design from the Fine Art School of Nancy in 1986, Francis Meslet was a designer, but soon turned to advertising when he joined several agencies as an artistic director. Francis does not hesitate to roam the world in his spare time, searching for abandoned sites, sanctuaries where time seems to have stopped after humans have evacuated them.
