African elephants are the most beautiful and largest land animals on Earth. However their populations are dwindling as a result of the demand for their ivory tusks. Most countries in West Africa count their forest elephants in tens or hundreds, with animals scattered in small blocks of isolated forest. To get this shot I literally waited until I get this elephant isolated and it gave me this beautiful wild pose.

My name is Thomas Vijayan, I am basically an Architect hailing from Kerala, India also known as God’s Own Country, was brought up in Bangalore and later moved to Canada, where I am now settled with my family.
