As a child I was fascinated by the beautiful still lifes of the golden age. The opulent abundance and richness that could be displayed and worked out down to the smallest detail. In my still lifes I try to capture this image with the same approach. By playing with light and dark, capture the beauty of every flower and every object down to the smallest detail.

I am a photographer from Holland. In my still lifes of flowers and objects I seek a mysterious balance between object and living material with light and shadow and I create the photographic illusion of a painting from the golden age.
