A 38 year old father climbed onto the roof of his shack‚ holding his daughter in hands to try to stop the Municipal team from demolishing the illegal shack. Metro police surrounded the shack and tried to negotiate with the 38 year old father to climb down. The Father flings his baby daughter from the roof of his illegal shack in the hope of stalling a forced eviction.The Baby fell in the arms of a metro police officer cushioning her fall. The Photographs was taken in Port Elizabeth's Joe Slovo township in South-Africa. The camera I used was a Nikon D700 and a 70-200mm Nikon lens. 12/04/2018
