In the beginning of 2018 I had a long discussion about the colour black & how it is pre-dominantly associated with negative stereotypes whilst white is always considered clean, beautifuly and good. I wanted to create a series that is dominated by black, creating a strong, power- & beautiful scenery where white is not the default used as the good oponent to a bad black. Together with interchanging reality & cliche, past & future, artifical & natural any afrofuturism can only be black and never lead by white.
