Object Dimensions 28.5”w x 3.67”h x 1.75"d Medium: Mixed Media: 12 archival pigment prints, 6 “Altoid” tins, encaustic media. This a a sculptural object in an edition of 20. Each item in the edition will be a unique object due to hand-fabbricaton of the structure and hand application of encaustic media to the image.Dreams are quirky phenomena. Existing in that liminal space we are confronted with situations we can’t quite explain, often fraught with absurdities and illogical occurrences. They challenge the delicate balance between perception and the subconscious mind.

Diana Nicholette Jeon is an award-winning artist from Honolulu, HI. She was awarded an MFA in Imaging and Digital Art from UMBC in 2006. Her internationally-exhibited work has been shown in venues that include the Griffin Museum of Photography, the Hawaii State Art Museum; the Honolulu Museum of Art; the Museo di Arte Moderna e Contemporanea (Florence); Griffin Museum, MK2 Biblioteque (Paris); Tethys Gallery (Florence); and PH21 Gallery (Budapest.) Awards include Hawaii State Purchase Award; Julia Margaret Cameron Awards: 9th Pollux Awards, and the International Photo Awards.
