Home for Christmas is part of a larger body of work titled Belonging. Belonging is centered on the connection and community found woven together at the dinner table. Exploring tradition and rituals, this work digs into the messy birth of identity through exploration and reflection. Home for Christmas is about searching, learning, and re-experiencing memories of family that are constantly changing with time and perception.
Abigail Egan is an emerging artist from Quincy, MA. She has been a photographer and writer for 10+ years. Egan’s artistic style focuses closely on human connection and family interaction. Her work explores themes such as familial relationships and the passage of time. Egan will complete her MFA in Photography and Integrated Media from Lesley University's School of Art and Design in May 2022.
