I love the harmony of sand dunes created by laws of physics. Through abstraction, I build a subjective interpretation of a pictorial content and I open a narrative space of new associations. A new perspective and color scheme prevent quick recognition and the brain is provoked to read the image anew and establish intimate personal understanding and feelings. Dawn in a desert is pure magic. Total silence, dark blue emerges from pure black, followed by violet, red, orange ... I am always deeply moved by a birth of new day, by a stream of new energy, new hopes, new horizons and expectations.

Photographer Marek Boguszak lives in Prague. He received his first camera at the age of twelve when he started to experiment with photography. He was more interested in post-processing darkrooms and exploring exposures than playing with his schoolmates. His inspirations came from photographers like Josef Sudek, Ansel Adams, Alfred Stieglitz. After graduating in mathematics Marek worked as a sociologist and market researcher. Alongside, photography remained his passion. His major method is to explore the unknown, the unseen in photography, making his photos a natural abstraction.
