These young boys and girls are poor, some of them abandoned, but they are also blind. A triple jeopardy in an unjust world. With some exceptions, they lost their sight in the places where they live very possibly by a curable disease. A group of albino children with a very limited vision share a classroom with these completely blind children in the outskirts of Nairobi in a private school. They receive classes from a teacher who is also blind and another one who does not enjoy good vision. These images aim to reunite us with a group of children that are united by the same tragedy.

I like to travel and encounter the world with its streets and its people, but the part that corresponds to my interest, my vision and philosophy of life. My photos are a look at someone's world, a journey into their space and their life; an attempt to build a story without affection, , as part of a social commitment. My images aim to reunite us with the common man, using a simple visual grammar that reveals the value of the everyday hidden life. Images that are the time of the people and the people in their time.
