Above and amidst this storm of dust and the roar of about 17 lions, you could hear the distinct call of the unfortunate buffalo calf in distress. The parents were frantically attempting to save the little one, but unfortunately were out numbered by the lions. Surely one of the most powerful shots and images I have ever taken as well as witnessed.
