The expression “Kawakudari,” a boat ride down the river, was started to be used when the history of using the Hozugawa River for transport began. It is a water transport untill the river played was overtaken by rail transport. But the Hozugawa Ravine holds many unique points of interest, including;charming flowers and maple trees, and intriguing geologic formations. Nowadays the Hozugawa River is exclusively used for sightseeing.People will come here to take a boat enjoy the autumn colors.
