On November 24, 2018, KMT Han Kuo-yu won 890,000 votes and was elected Kaohsiung Mayor in Taiwan’s Kaohsiung City Election. But he announced his participation in the Republic of China January 11, 2020 presidential election in Kaohsiung less than half a year after taking office The citizens were angry at this.
