Skate Soccer in Ghana is a game played by the physically challenged who use locally made skateboards to support them. Many of the people who play skate soccer earn their living by begging on the streets of Accra, Ghana. There are still stigmas towards the physically challenged in Ghana, who face several challenges, so this makes it harder for them to integrate into a normal lifestyle within the society. The aim of Skate Soccer is to get them off the streets so that they stop begging and rather, get proper jobs.
