The work apparently addresses the physical sphere, sexuality and a certain type of desire and drive but, in the end, it moves around the mind of the subjects being filmed and that of the observer. The subject dealt with, not exactly inflated, is a practice: that of bondage, which has come under the spotlight in recent years thanks to a couple of books and films of modest thickness that have tickled the taste of the forbidden of some. A practice, however, repeatedly lapped in the past by the limelight, which has its roots in the remote history of various human cultures.
