The river beds become frozen under the cold temperatures. It offers amazing shapes and textures of ice, as thin as glass, which works perfectly to lead the eye from the bubbly foreground, up to the dancing green sky. These textured ice bits are of great use to enhance dimension and perspective to the frame, going from front to back of course but also from surface to depth under the ice, where we are tempted to have a look what's hiding under these fragments of thin crystal.
