This is a portrait of Paulina, at the time she recently escaped from very toxic relationships so I wanted to make her an armor for the shoot, but have it be fragile and more second-skin-like. I already had some experience with plaster, but I never used it on such a dynamic area. While the plaster was wet everything went smoothly, but as soon as it started to set and harden it started to peel off in the areas where muscles were moving underneath it. As we went on, this cool thing happened where plastic started to fall off and curl on its own furthering the metaphor we started with.
