The project aims at investigating primitive and misterious connections through esthetical and emotional tools. What we see is the subjects' back: the structure that sustains our whole body, and yet something which very rarely is portrayed. We start enquiring about human nature, but our research soon develops into a string of questions about our dark sides and what nature can still teach us about ourselves.  Another kind of connection emerges also from the merging between photography and painting.
