Abstraction in art and photography is the use of a visual language of color, shapes and lines, to create an image that can exist independently of the visual references in the real world. As the technology of photography, in parallel to trends in art, abstraction is part of the photographic language. Genesis is the abstraction of light, as a symbol of birth, creation, spirituality, purity, consciousness and enlightenment. Photography series created with two optical filters by own development.

Expanded poetics of perception, memory, and territory Daniel Agra makes abstract and expanded photography a method of inquiry: transforming the visible in order to delve deeper into perception, memory, territory, temporality, consciousness, and subjectivity. His work progressively shifts the image from representation toward experience, turning it into a space for thought and the act of looking into a form of knowledge.
