The Editing is an important part of photography, whether it is to slightly modify the colors, the brightness ... or to recreate a whole part of the image ... Here, I tried to modify as much as possible this portrait of a musician while keeping a certain integrity of the original photography ... the particles floating in the air are not added but revealed by the editing ... Thus, we obtain a portrait which is almost close to a graphic drawing, but which remains well and truly a photography.
Samuel Mélia was born in France, starting with studies in jazz music (saxophone), he then turned to photography. Samuel appreciates photographs of different genres, so he enjoys the work of Andreas Gursky as much as Annie Leibovitz, Mark Seliger, Saul Leiter or Sebastião Salgado.
