This is part of what I call my "Caravaggio Inspired" Toward the light series, working with dark shadows and light, and sometimes recreating light, allows me to bring out my subject, and give it more effect. Description: Reminiscing his early days as a former actor, working with the likes of Andy Warhol in his heyday, to working as a landlord of a 1930's art deco hotel in Hollywood in the present, where he says, he is equally as happy, and content.
Anything worth pursuing in life, must first start with passion and a drive. A zest for something new, in an ever changing World. Photography has privileged me the freedom to explore, and see the world with a different perspective. It allows me to be more in tune, aware, and observant of my surroundings, and to take in its beauty and richness in a whole new way. It allows me to be creative, and lets me capture my interpretation of the world as I see it. The camera is not only an extension of my eye, but my imagination. I want to make photographs that tell a story.
