Far From Madding Crowd
'The Channel Islands are pieces of France that fell into the sea and were picked up by England', Victor Hugo.
Victor Hugo was enchanted by the island’s beautiful and dramatic coastline. Guernsey is a hidden gem nestled in the English Channel off the coast of Normandy. From the beautiful beaches of the west coast to stunning cliffs of the south, the island offers unlimited photographic possibilities and provides a strong source of artistic inspiration. This series of seascapes explores the splendour of the coastline of Guernsey.
I’m an avid, amateur fine art photographer currently based in London.
I began my own journey with travel photography, aiming to capture the essence of each of the places I visited. Inspired by the contemporary environment of Singapore, I later focused my attention on cityscapes and architecture. More recently, I find myself attracted to nature and seascapes.
