Visual Exploration These are digital photo composites. I don't think about categories or concepts. My interest the end result-- hopefully something I haven't seen before There is no formula, although images are made from layers of Whole Digital Photos, inverted, transparent or opaqued in Photoshop. I try to resist the obvious and often encourage flaws. Digital has been a fresh method of visual discovery for me, resulting in shapes, textures and color combinations that I would not have considered otherwise. There is always the irony of making photos that may not eventually resemble photographs.
