I entered the garden in search of the radiant, smooth curves the iris flower hides in the peaceful world concealed by its petals. Most of the flowers were in a phase that would be considered "past their prime," a crumpled look you would walk by with barely a glance. But when I peered into the flower beds and looked closer, I noticed how intoxicatingly complex they were with intricate patterns, textures and nuances in color. That's when the magic happened. I started to explore, and this Visual Meditation series emerged to inspire people to marvel at beauty that can be found beyond the bloom.
