A "Behind the Scenes" recognition of the Worker at the Oscars in Hollywood 2016-2018. A hidden part of the world famous annual event, capturing the rapid preparations creating the celebrated Red Carpet. A personal project with accredited access from AMPAS, I shadowed members of the IATSE local union as they sawed, hammered, nailed and painted their way in the days and nights leading to the moment the carpet debuts to an audience of millions. Receiving appreciation from the Union members, I captured moments that contrast their hard work among the famous during the #1 annual event in Hollywood.
