On Eagle Huntresses

Among the Kazakh eagle hunters of western Mongolia, eagle huntresses, young women trained in the art of hunting with the massive golden eagles, are few, far between and often held in special regard, both across society and among their fellow hunters. Competing on equal terms against the male counterparts, they exhibit amazing strength, dedication and commitment to their calling. What makes them even more amazing is that, contrary to the male hunters, they still have to attend school full time.
