These are things that have been tangerine wraped to my mum for many years as her best friends. I felt they carried her breath and fingerprints. I chose a black background to emphasize objects. The blackboard used as a photo frame for my first solo exhibition in 2005. My mum always supported me following photography. "Connection" is the second part of the long-term project "My mum”. Part one is the story of how my mum overcame all challenges to win illness, from being in bed to being able to walk and handle things by herself.
