While crop farming has been a part of human existence since the evolution of mankind, the way human use is changing Earth has been the most noticeable since the 1970s. We have progressed to use over 16 million km² of land (the entire size of South America) for crop farming alone. This on-going series documents the harvesting process throughout different seasons across the United States. The purpose is to create awareness of how we are shaping our planet but also to question our evolution as a whole and offer another view of something that we tend to take as normality, as our right on Earth.
