Patterns of Destruction

As the war continued, those who died vanished and those who survived fled away. The remaining ones were uninhabited towns and ruins that would soon be removed and replaced. While so-called 'humanity' was disappearing, only 'matter' remained and perhaps that 'matter' depicted the pain it had witnessed in an unconscious manner just before itself would disappear. Photographs are from Turkey, Syria and Iraq, from places that has witnessed the atrocities of 'humanity'. These are the testimonies of the remains in different Kurdish, Arab and Christian towns in the Middle East.
