Usually, clear sunny days aren't considered ideal for woodland photography, but on this particular day the light was so well diffused by the foliage that as I made the trek to Beauchamp Falls, I couldn't help notice how the beams of light were falling on the ferns and the small creek and were almost bringing the scene to life. It took a bit of adjustments to make sure my tripod was secure, but once I had settled on the composition, I was happy to take my time for the light to be just right and capture this scene of pure tranquility.
