Following the work of the expressionist Edvard Munch, the "Frieze of Life" - a comprehensive picture of human life - I have named a number of these components, which are elementary for the human being or at least for me; The contact to other people (motif 1 „The Game“), the desire for love and a form of closeness or relationship (motif 2 „Dialog“), the importance of being visually beautiful (motif „Modern Beauty“ 3), the influence of personal fears (motif 4 „The Neighbour“) and the examination of one's own mortality (motif 5 „ I last here“).

Short Biography Julian Paul Julian Paul, born in 1986, is a German photographer and video artist based in Berlin and Bochum. He studied Art History and Theatre Studies at the Ruhr-University in Bochum and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Photography Design at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Dortmund. He is currently studying Master of Arts in Photography in Dortmund and works as a freelance photographer, specializied in portrait and conceptual photography. He also works on his own video projects and was involved in various film projects as Director of Photography.
