"hands of Pandemia"

  • Photographer
    Joanna Musial

Hands have an important role in our social life. We shake hands for introduction, to greet. We express ourselves by hands movement, comfort each other with its gestures. Touch of a hand is an important part of relationships. Now we can't touch each other and if we do - it's "plastic touch". We wear plastic gloves and touch of a hand become the first thing to be scared of and to protect from. If we touch someone's hand we automatically sanitize our owns. Something that used to be a symbol of kindness, expression of closeness becomes a potential danger and the easiest way to get sick.

I study Graphics Art on Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts. In 2018 I got bachelor's degree in photography class. Now i am during my master's. I focus mostly on photography. Especially conceptual and documentary.
