ON_OFF : what if we could interrupt the axis that never sleeps ? More than 1.2 million vehicles circulate day and night around the Parisian metropolis along the capital’s widest “boulevard” : the “périphérique”. This uninterrupted passage impacts our environment : visually, aurally and ecologically. Through this photographic work I’m trying to illustrate the contrast between an excessively living reality and a dreamy void. As if the images offered us the ability to turn off the Paris’ Highway.
