The relationship of colour, texture and mood is a major element in all my images. In a medium that can be extremely clinical, revealing just enough detail and yet leaving something to the imagination, is an important aspect of my work. My photographic style has origins back in the film era, many years before the digital revolution. It’s a mix of my film inheritance, an obsession with pointillism, and now a never expanding grasp of the digital format and its possibilities. Through my images I endeavour to evoke a response by revealing some of my feelings of that particular moment.
