Arrowhead plant (Syngonium podophyllum) is commonly cultivated as a houseplant. It is easy to grow indoor in low to medium light with many varieties and colors to choose from, these foliage plants coordinate well with any decor. It is unusual for the plant to produce flowers indoor. The flowers appear greenish to white spadex similar to peace lily. Leaves vary in colors depend upon the plant variety. When leaves first emerge they are relatively heart-shaped and often display silvery variegation. When leaves become mature, they attain the arrowhead shape that give them their common name.
