The World Outside

There is little that I regret, but having kids as late as at 35 is one of such things. After graduation I spent a decade trying to find meaning in different jobs, but the truth is that only when my newborn daughter smiled at me for the first time did I feel a true sense of belonging. Being a parent gives you purpose, but more than that, kids have the power to awaken you from the numbness brought about by adulthood. Children experience the world with curiosity and wonder that we've lost somewhere along the way. I've been trying to capture this emotion. This is my best take thus far.

I'm 39 and love to travel. I have two lovely kids. They are a handful and so is my wife. I primarily shoot Canon: Canon EOS 70D, 200D Canon 17-85/4-5.6 EF-S IS USM Canon 50 f/1.8 EF Velbon DV-7000
