At a car breakers’in the Netherlands, I shot the sequence Anger Management. It depicts the fun and ridicule of a Western pastime; an actually existing game... As the car still seems to be the eminent status symbol, it seems unimaginable that one would confront it with demolition hammers, for sheer fun, leisurely distraction and release of day-to-day frustration. An evenly interesting and alienating human experiment.
