What Makes My Body Shine?

I have lived in Taipei, the capital of Taiwan, for 7 years. As I feel sick of a serious illness, I do realize that the cumulative effects of pollution in our society, including noise pollution, water pollution, air pollution, food pollution, etc., really make me weak. I would like to call it a “modern plague” in this 21 century. Different colors represent different symptoms of the disease. People are sick, and so is this metropolitan city. I take these pictures to record my body changes. This is my only way to call for the government attentions and fight back to this unfriendly society.

Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets. Being positive doesn’t mean life is perfect, it’s making a conscious choice to focus more on the good that exists. So that I devote more care to my life, to the surroundings, and to the people who I like and dislike.
