I photographed these monkeys in the Galtaji Temple (temple of monkeys) in Jaipur (India). I was very impressed with the expression of their eyes that is often identical to that of humans. I chose to represent them with a sepia color nuanced to emphasize the fact of how ancient is our descent from these old progenitors.

I have a degree in mechanical engineering. My passion for photography began at my ninth birthday when I received as gift from my grandmother a beautiful Kodak Retinette. Since then I have continued to take pictures although the hard engagement of the studies had a negative impact on my photographic works as well as many very challenging work periods. In the last ten years I started to take pictures with some more dedication. I often participate with great satisfaction to some trips organized by the Nikon School Travel.
