'I am who I am, that's all there is. I am the sum total of everything that went before me, of all I have been seen done, of everything done-to-me. I am everyone everything whose being-in-the-world affected was effected by mine' (phrases from the book Midnight's Children by Salman Rushdie). Identity is also formed by the interior of the old Dutch canal house from 1650 in Leiden.
