In Castiglion Fiorentino, Tuscany, Italy, the processions of Holy Week are a deep religious tradition. The processions are linked to the local tradition of the Confraternities, particularly alive in Castiglion Fiorentino in the Late Middle Ages. In the fourteenth century the Augustinian Fathers settled in the town and gave a remarkable impulse to the local religious life by organizing processions in which the Confraternities participated with their hoods. Even today, in the town of Castiglion Fiorentino, parades follow the same path of the past.
Hello! I am Italian and I was born in Siena, Tuscany. My passions are traveling and taking pictures. At the beginning I devoted myself more to landscapes and architecture. Then to a modern still-life that revolves around geometries and colors. Finally my attention was seduced by portraits. I like color photos but black and white has won me over. Anyway, in my opinion, no matter what it is: to capture a moment of our existence is a real magic.
