This series captures the Covid work that I was a part of early on during the pandemic in Singapore. It was intense, exhausting, & a time of unprecedented camaraderie. Our work took us into migrant workers' dorms & quarantine facilities; I saw how communicating with respect and empathy helped melt away the fear that was so evident in the migrant workers' eyes. Behind the scenes, there were those who packed quarantine kits, checking each thermometer before inserting it into the kit; and those who attended endless meetings through weekends and holidays to make sure everything ran smoothly.
