Seabirds On The Ice of Hokkaido
In Hokkaido, Japan, the drifting ice outside the port of Luojing is not frozen in the local area but is "floating" from the Sea of Okhotsk. Because of the many planktons which attracted a large number of aquariums and the seabirds.
Seabirds are an endangered species. Haliaeetus pelagicus is the most famous one, there are also white-tailed sea eagle, dragonflies, and seagulls in the area.
At 5:30 in the morning, I took the icebreaker to the drifting area. The seabirds are flying, fishing and fighting between the morning lights and shadows. I use long shots to take more vivid photos.
