The “Fiorirai - Blooming inside" photo project is the result of my research on a contemporary visual language. A living and dead matter at the same time gave me the opportunity to create a series that speaks of my inner visual world. Love, detachment, tenderness, embrace, are suggested by the images and come into the eyes of those who look. These photos recall the collective unconscious, the feelings and the stories of each of us. The meaning of the photos is recreated by the sensitivity of those who look at them, each one finds and reinterprets his story.

Francesca Romano is an italian photographer working on social reportage, portraits and fine art series. Born in Palermo in 1966, she graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts with a Master Degree in Photography. Photoreporter at daily Newspaper “Giornale di Sicilia”, when she was 23 moved to Milan to enhance her studies in Photography at Superstudio and Journalism at IFG, Milan. Currently she works as independent photographer focusing on portraits and photography projects, art exhibition. She also works as graphic journalist in two italian magazine published by Cairo Editore.
